As the days become longer and less layers of clothing are needed when venturing outside it’s fair to say that Spring is on its way. With Spring on the horizon, it’s time to say goodbye to my berry lipsticks and dark nail varnish and refresh my make-up bag with products and colours for the forthcoming season.
Beautyspin was my website of choice when it came to ordering some new Spring/Summer products. This website has a wide range of make-up, perfume, skincare and more, but at fraction at the price you’d find them in store or online somewhere else. The website hosts brands such as Rimmel, Makeup Revolution and L’Oreal, but also brands such as Estee Launder, Elizabeth Arden and MAC. I would definitely recommend having a browse, you will find some amazing bargains!
There’s something about the Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Varnish that I am obsessed with. The formula itself is amazing quality which means that it can stay put for a long period of time. The colour that caught my eye was ‘Velvet Rose’ which is fuchsia/rose colour. It’s a beautiful, vibrant and pink-y shade that is perfect for Spring.
Bourjois Fard Pastel Jouse Blusher | Rose Ambre (£5.23)
Or what name it is also known by ‘Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher’. I’ve been waiting to get my hands on one of these blushes for a while now. This blusher has been around for 150 years and it is what the brand Bourjois are now famous for. This blush is available in 12 shades, however I went for ‘Rose Ambre’ a natural, warm pink shade – perfect for everyday wear. One thing I love about this blusher is that it has no shimmer! In addition, this baked blush has a extremely soft texture and is easily blended when applied to the cheeks.
This triple baked highlighter is another product that I’ve been wanting to try out for a while. I’ve read so many rave reviews about Makeup Revolution’s Goddess of Faith, that I couldn’t wait to try it for myself. Spring/Summer for me is all about the highlight and this gorgeous pink toned shade will give you a helping hand in giving you a healthy glow. It’s extremely pigmented, amazing quality and not only that – the packaging is really cute and quirky too!
I’m a huge fan of the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks so it was about time that I added a new one for Spring/Summer into my makeup bag. I went for shade ‘077 Asia’ which is a pink/nude colour. It’s a perfect shade every day wear when you just need a small amount of colour on your lips. It enhances what you already have. What I love the most about these lipsticks is the texture, it’s a creamy lipstick and leaves a lovely satin finish.
