So it finally happened, I moved! After living away form home for three years for university then moving back in with my parents, I realised I really wanted and liked having my own space. Once I got settled into my new job the house search began. I really enjoyed searching for a new place to live and having a look round the ones I was interested in. I was quite lucky that I found a house share I liked quite early on and stated my interest. Within a few days, my deposit was paid and the moving process had begun! Honestly, it happened so quickly I was hardly prepared on the move in date.
As the room I grew up in and all my university rooms were quite cluttered I really tried not to bring too much stuff with me and also decided to have minimal decorative items. I had to pick up some cacti; a blogger favourite. I got these three little guys from Ikea for a tiny price. All of the cushions, bedding and blanket were from Asda. I fell in love with the rabbit quilt when I saw it. I absolutely love all animals, especially rabbits so I had to have it. Although, I do feel like a bit of a child! I was searching everywhere for some cushions and a blanket which were good quality, but not too expensive. I was so surprised at the range they had in Asda, there were so many lovely items I couldn’t decide what to pick. I ended up getting a three for £10 deal, with the two lilac cushions and the zig zag cushion. I couldn’t resist the sweet little alphabet cushion with my initial on. Finally, I picked up some bits and bobs from Wilkos and the Range. I purchased some fake flowers and a ‘home sweet home’ milk bottle to keep them in as well as some cute owl coasters which I couldn’t leave the Range without!
