Can you believe it’s December already? Our Christmas tree is up and I’ve eaten the first chocolate from my advant calender, it’s safe to say I’m in the festive mood. The majority of my Christmas shopping is done, it’s nice to not having to do it last minute and having a less frantic December. Although I loved university and being a student, I feel like this month I can really relax and look forward to Christmas. Every year since A-levels I’ve been doing work on Christmas Eve, giving myself Christmas day off and starting again, I love not having to worry about work and being able to just enjoy the season.
I featured this in a post in September about what I received for my birthday (here). All I’ve got to say is that I’ve been obsessed with this scent ever since and I think I’ve pretty much been wearing it everyday. This sweet scent has been getting lots of compliments since I’ve started wearing it. I’m a massive fan of Beyonce, but before I started listening to her music, I was wearing her perfume. I’m not just biased, genuinely it smells beautiful! I really struggle with describing perfumes, I have nothing to say except it smells really good!
Good Things Deep Clean
Good Things Deep Clean is a blackhead exfoliator and is specifically designed to ‘make the most out of young skin’. It’s got quite a strong fruity scent, which might not be for everyone, but I really love it. I haven’t got an awful lot of skin problems, I have a few spots and dry skin, but nothing too major so this makes me reluctant to change my skincare routine. However, I’ve really noticed a difference since I’ve started using it. It contains smooth micro-beads which aim to remove dead skin. I use this in the morning and night and it’s made my skin feel clean and smooth. Other positives of this product include it being suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
DGJ Organics Hangover Hair
I’ve recently done a bit of dip dying and when I say a bit I mean, it took four boxes of hair dye to change my dark brown hair to a light brown. Although it’s still not as light as I would have liked, I don’t want to dye it any more! I am fairly worried about the damage that this could have, so I’ve introduced a new brand of shampoo and conditioner into my routine. DGJ Organics Hangover Hair is an intensive detox for dull, tired and stressed hair. The products contain many ingredients that aims to detoxify and revitalise all hair types. I’ve been really loving using this shampoo and conditioner and although my hair has not transformed into healthy, luxurious locks, I am started to noticed a difference which I am very happy about!
Thermal Owl Mug
I picked up this thermal mug from Primark not too long ago and it’s the perfect thermal mug to put my drinks in. Although I don’t particularly take it out and about with me, I do like filling a big mug and settling down for the evening. Some of my favourite hot drinks this month is Whittards White Chocolate Hazelnut and Magic Stars hot chocolate, which I have mentioned a lot over the last month or so. I am also getting obsessed with peppermint tea, it’s always so nice and refreshing.
I love bobble hats, I wish I could wear them all year round but I can’t, however as soon as it starts to get a little bit cooler and dig out my bobble hats and get cosy for Winter. This one of my favourites that I picked up from Primark a couple of years ago now.
How has your November been? What has been some of your favourites?
